Catch of the Day

It's official. President's Choice English-Style Fish and Chips (or Poisson et frites a l'anglais) is still available here at the local Provigo grocery store. The other bit of good news, Provigo delivers, although probably not across the Great Lakes.

I previously posted on the barriers to free trade that keep this product off the shelves in the US, much to the dismay of my good friend at Flapjam.

Tonight I braved long lines and potential thawing of my other frozen goods to bring home this tasty catch.

I haven't tried it yet but I am looking forward to eating like a king for the next two to three nights. Some key facts: each box contains four servings and at least six pieces of delicious breaded pollock. I promise to report back on the results.
